• Steal your friends’ patio heaters and recycle them

• Stop selling patio heaters. Start selling jumpers.

• When smoking in public places is banned, provide ashtrays for smokers, not patio heaters.

• Ban them - first for commercial use in pubs and bars, and then stop them being sold altogether.
